Bush Hawk RC (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with POPIA. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the rights you have.

• Order & delivery details - shipping address and order history.
• Payment information - processed securely by Yoco. We never see or store your full card details.
• Technical data - IP address and browser information, used for security and fraud prevention.

• To fulfil and deliver your orders (performance of our contract with you).
• To manage your account and provide support.
• To send marketing communications - only where you have given consent.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
• To keep the store secure and prevent fraud (our legitimate interest).

4. Sharing your information

We share personal information only with operators who help us run the store, under appropriate safeguards:

• Yoco - payment processing.
• Couriers / delivery partners - to deliver your order.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. How we protect your information

• Sensitive personal information (such as addresses and phone numbers) is encrypted at rest.
• All traffic is served over HTTPS, with strict security headers.
• Access to customer data is restricted to authorised staff only.
• Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing.

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, tax records are kept for 5 years). Account data is removed on request unless we are legally required to retain it.

You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct or delete it; object to processing; and withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise these rights via our data request form.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your cart and session working, and (with your consent) analytics cookies to improve the store. You can manage your choice via the cookie banner.
