The Eclipson Fly Baby is a modern take on the classic Bowers Fly Baby. This iconic aircraft won the Experimental Aircraft Association's design competition in 1962. It was specifically designed for easy assembly in a home garage using basic hand tools, making it accessible for the average person. In our 3D printed RC version, we have stayed true to the original design, including the use of fishing lines to reinforce the wing and landing gear. This provides both a realistic appearance and structural strength without the need for costly carbon fiber tubes. Additionally, the wing is detachable for added convenience.
